I read up until Ch. 46 before making this review..
To start things up, I dived into this novel with a mindset of a person diving into a poisonous cliff. But guess what? I was actually pleasantly surprised it’s pretty good.
I like to start off with our MC, Chen Chuan. He’s a pretty hard-working, low-key person and not those typical chinese poison MCs that can’t walk whenever he sees beautiful woman. Even later in the chaps, it was also shown his pragmatic side that doesn’t let him do impulsive and brain-dead things out of character, to which I really like.
The plot is the typical weak-to-strong trope that’s done with a great flow of things. It’s not all over the place (at least for me) .
Plot armor is pretty thick. He has this ability that can summon one servant at a time within a set amount of cooldown given to him by his system. They have an outlandish strength that aids him along the way, and they’re part of his harem. There’s currently 3 he has summoned right now as of Ch. 46
MC has fast cultivation and he seems pretty OP-ish with the chapters I read currently.
Harem is pretty transparent also, the plot isn’t really focused on to that right now as his servants are pretty much in the MC’s bag alrdy (their loyalty started off 90%+ at the start). For now it focuses more on MC’s development along with his harem.
I’m liking it, and I’ll continue reading it. 4/5 for me for now. I’ll adjust my ratings along the way if ever it becomes poison down the road

Ch. 73 update. Gonna change my rating from 4/5 to 2.5/5. Basically sh*t happened, all of MCs trump card was exposed, countless characters came out of nowhere, and now MCs in the full limelight. I’ll consider dropping it anytime soon if ever I encounter one more thing I don’t like.
It doesn’t mean it’s bad though, do try it if you feel that you’re interested. This just my personal review

Honestly. Reading the synopsis and the title you might expect a meh harem book where the summons are OP and just serve MC. At the start it is kind of that story. MC summons Su Daji, she is really strong and he stands out for that reason. He is also unique within the human race since this is the first time someone with a valentine awakening does something so powerful. But it goes for a different route than one would expect. MC also focuses on making himself powerful instead of just surviving and relying on his summons. It goes so far that the summons are later mostly irrelevant. After the first 50 or so chapters the story just becomes a normal wuxia/xanxia story with MC focusing on cultivation and having side-chicks which are open to se* on call and are loyal to MC. There are summons later but they only appear as a plot armor or a get out of jail free card, essentially MC is in peril he has a summons, he summons just the right person to fulfil his needs.

Not gonna lie, In the past few weeks novels are pretty Bad No it’s actually trash calling it pretty bad is an compliment. Why do people write these kind of novels? almost all novel I read have the same trope, same mc with just different name and systems, can we get a mc without a system? every mc With a system is just shut in dude that even didn’t contribute to society. It’s ALMOST ALL THE SAME, Even webnovels author write better than this.
