liked that the mc isn’t subjected to some shtty situation just to add some spice… like having some shtty background or situation at the start like a typical protag would….liked that there’s no drama here

It is good but it gets boring after a while because it’s just the same thing repeated over and over again. MC goes to city with black tortoise -> someone provokes black tortoise city -> MC beat them -> MC trades with them -> MC goes to another city -> repeat until infinity. I read 500 chapters and that’s basically the whole plot. It good but the same thing is repeated over and over again.

Personally, it was good until they arrives at mountain city. After that, many things turns into shit. Illogical power inflation for the MC, authoe dumb down the iq of MC, MC that forgives people who hurts his people, etc. So many problems.

they should add a slice of life tag on this 95 percent is just him trying to recreate stuff from old life and management. Like he tries to make a train and he uses a steam engine instead of useing a magic tool that is made to just spin. Also he is always in a hurry for no reason the author tries to make reason but they seem really forced. He has only been in the world for a year and he is a 11th stage awakener and he is always in a hurry. when the big event were all the monsters are going to awaken and come up from underground and attack all living things on the surface he decides to send out a team of ppl 2 of which are very important to the mc to draw a map of the sea area instead of waiting for like 10 days for the event to end. It was pretty much put there so author could make a hero saves the princess scene. It also feels that as this goes on the chapter keep getting shorter and shorter. I would say about 1 out 5 of chapters now are just him sitting down for dinner with everyone and talking a little bit. It has obviously become one those novels were author just writes filler because that how they measure novels not by chapter but how many words there are.

It’s one of those that started okay, became popular, author decides to pointlessly extend it. Like I expected him to build a city, tame interesting beasts, gain interesting powers, meet interesting people. It is kinda like that at the start but the MC’s system gets needlesly nerfed around the start where he can only tame 1 type of each beast(1 wolf, 1 snake, 1 spider, etc.). After a while it gets infested by heavy slice of life, plot takes a while to progress, they just talk and invent. Time passes agonizingly slowly.
I’d say it’s still somewhat enjoyable till mountain city. After that it’s just more of the same.

So far this is the best mtl novel that I have read. I recommend all of you to give this a try. I assure you that you will not lose any brain cells because of the mc. The mc is op because his power is one-step ahead of the people he is confronting. At the moment, the mc hasn’t encounter an enemy that is on par with his combat power and can confront him toe-to-toe. Overall, this is so good and enjoyable. I’m looking forward for more chapters in the future.

you can read it but if you have read the novel in which mc is a transmigrated into a villain body in the novel he knows, you will find the mc in this novel arrogant, selfish and horny, like in the entire highpalace he only has girls around him and he always demolishes the house of the tribes which is “little tortoise visits, like he dont sees other people of the other tribes as people he only cares about the girls around him and when to hold them and fuck them, and how to cheat or find a reason to kill people nd loot there beasts spar,………………..if you can ignore this then it is quite good

Okay honestly I enjoy this story mostly. When he gets and upgrades animals is most fun since it can be interesting how they’ll help him develop. The most boring part becomes city development because author can really sink into it.
It’s fine initially and feels a bit interesting to see the city develop. On the later stages in the story it becomes a multi-chapter thing that really slows down the story and feels exhausting. Like it’s fine to see industry develop and his decision, but when reading 10-20 chapters of just that and citizen perspective it starts to feel boring and a chore to read. Especially if the story beforehand didn’t have much other progress.
It generally begins to feel like the author streches the story. It also begins becoming somewhat repetitve on the later chapters.
Most people should enjoy up to about 600 chapters though. Afterwards depends if you’re reading the story little by little or binging. If you binge it you’ll get tired and likely have to pause or slow down, if not depends on your taste.
Overall I’d give this story about a 4/5.
